Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Allurify ("we", "us", or "the app") helps you improve how you present yourself for dating and relationships. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Allurify, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Allurify is operated by an independent app developer based in Orange, California, USA. You can reach us any time at support@allurify.app.
Information we collect
We collect only what the app needs to work:
- Your photo. When you choose to be analyzed, the photo you select is used to generate your results. See "How your photo is handled" below.
- Quiz responses. Your answers to the in-app questionnaire, used to build your behavioral profile, score, plan, and guides.
- Onboarding details. A small set of self-reported attributes you provide during setup: your gender, your age range, where you heard about the app, and what you are hoping to get out of it.
- Basic usage and diagnostic data. Anonymous events about how the app is used (for example, completing onboarding or starting an assessment), along with your app version and device type. This is tied only to a random, app-generated identifier — never to your name, email, or contact details.
- Subscription data. When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status (active, expired, etc.) but never your full payment card details.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifier, and the app does not ask you to create an account.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Analyze your photo and generate your score, plan, and guides;
- Personalize your experience based on your quiz responses and onboarding details;
- Understand, in aggregate, how people use the app so we can improve it;
- Manage your subscription and unlock paid features;
- Respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photo or your data to serve advertising.
How your photo is handled
When you ask to be analyzed, your photo — together with your quiz answers and onboarding details — is sent to our third-party AI provider, OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), for the sole purpose of generating your results in real time. The app tells you this, and names OpenRouter, at the moment you choose to send a photo — so you agree before any data leaves your device.
- We do not store your photo on our own servers. Allurify does not operate an account database, and we do not keep a server-side copy of your image.
- A copy of your photo remains only on your device so the app can show it back to you, and it is removed when you delete your data (see "Your choices").
- OpenRouter processes the image and your answers to return your results and is contractually bound to handle them securely. Its own data practices are governed by its privacy policy; we use it in a way that does not use your photo to serve you advertising.
No facial recognition or biometric identification. Allurify analyzes the overall presentation in your photo (such as grooming, styling, lighting, and framing) to generate feedback. The app does not create a faceprint or other biometric template, does not use facial geometry to identify you, and does not use your photo to recognize you across images or sessions.
Where your data lives
Most of your data — your results, plan progress, quiz answers, onboarding details, and the local copy of your photo — is stored on your device, not on our servers.
The anonymous usage and onboarding analytics described above are processed using PostHog, a third-party product-analytics provider, and may also be stored on our own infrastructure. They are tied only to the random, app-generated identifier described above, and are used only by us to understand and improve the app.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers needed to operate the app:
- OpenRouter, our AI provider, which analyzes your photo and answers to generate your results;
- Apple and RevenueCat, to process and manage subscriptions;
- PostHog, our product-analytics provider, which processes anonymous usage and onboarding events on our behalf;
- Our cloud hosting provider, which stores our anonymous analytics.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or of Allurify.
Data retention
- Data stored on your device remains until you delete it within the app or remove the app.
- Anonymous analytics may be retained in aggregate to track trends over time.
- Subscription status is retained for as long as needed to manage your purchase.
Your choices
- Delete your data. In Settings → Delete Account & Data, you can permanently erase all app data stored on your device, including your results and the local copy of your photo.
- Access, correct, or delete. You can also contact us at support@allurify.app to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
- Manage your subscription. You can view or cancel your subscription any time in your device's App Store account settings.
Children's privacy
Allurify is intended for adults and is not directed to children. The app is rated for users 17 and older, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at support@allurify.app and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including limiting what is collected and not maintaining a central database of identifiable user accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including by our AI and hosting providers. By using the app, you consent to this processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
